Splendour on the Farm

I combined some adventuring and art-ing a couple of weekends ago, heading out to a friend's farm to take some photos for her upcoming EP. I didn't really know what to expect - it was described as a suburban Dutch farm - and so was pleasantly met with rolling green grass, fruit trees dotted around, a slightly-threatening ram and a centuries-old restored farmhouse in the middle. Add to this the chickens and peacocks (both of which we delighted in chasing for that elusive 'great shot'), and in spite of the grey skies (really, this is Summer?) it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Added bonus? Unlimited supply of peacock feathers for crafty goodness...

Here's a promotional postcard all done up for the 'client' (who paid in an amazing grilled salmon dinner with roasted capsicum pasta. Lekker!)
