Well, I’ve done it. I’ve finally started listing items for sale over on Etsy. Here’s the link for you to check them out...
Over the next week while my Dutchman is away for work I’ll be adding my available stock to the site and taking pictures of my crafty and sewing projects ready for sale.
This is a fun time for me and Ink & Whim. It’s really nice to reach a broader audience, and the feeling when two people “favourited” one of my necklaces before I had even finished listing a second one was just wonderful! It’s strange having an Etsy store seeing as I’m not a business, however if you lovely people buying my pretty things helps me to buy more art and sewing supplies then I’m all for it! A vicious cycle? ;-)
I took some pics today of some of my hand-dyed lace necklaces against origami paper backgrounds. Don’t the colours look just WONDERFUL together? It’s making me rethink what I would wear with each necklace, and making me want to mix it up with bright prints and florals rather than the plain colours I usually match with my (4!) lace necklaces.
And, dear reader, this time if you’d like to purchase one then you can go over to my Etsy store!
